Event Details:

On October 1, 2011, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Eastern Iowa Chapter will host our 9th Annual Promise Gala at the Cedar Rapids Marriott. Proceeds from the event will go directly to JDRF to support our mission of finding a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research.

Over 450 guests will gather for cocktails, dinner, silent & live auctions and live entertainment.

Highlights of the evening include:

• The presentation of the Promise Award to Dr. Jeff and Mary Krivit
• A special tribute to Rockwell Collins for their support as Presenting Sponsor
• Exciting live and silent auctions
• A performance by the Eddie Piccard Quartet

Pursuant to IRS ruling 67-246 the fair market value of this event is $60 per person.
